Curiosity at the heart of my practice: "I’ve been a nurse since 2018, beginning in a neurological progressive care unit for four years. After becoming a nurse practitioner in 2022, I spent three years in family medicine, caring for a wide range of health concerns. I’ve always been curious about medicine—how the body works, why conditions develop, and how we can help people feel better."
Connecting the dots: "My interest in endocrine and cardiometabolic health grew as I continued my education, including completing a post-master’s certificate in endocrinology at Duke University. At Midi, I enjoy helping women understand concerns such as thyroid disorders, pre-diabetes, diabetes, and weight changes as part of the bigger picture of midlife health."
A partnership: "I believe women deserve to be partners in their healthcare. I’m here to bring my medical knowledge, listen carefully, and offer guidance—but ultimately, each woman gets to decide what happens with her body. I want my patients to feel heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions."
Care that starts with listening: "I begin by understanding the whole picture: what symptoms a woman is experiencing, how they’re affecting her daily life, and what matters most to her. Then we look together at treatment options, considering her medical history, risks, lifestyle, and preferences. For me, good care isn’t about telling someone what to do, it’s about helping her make informed decisions that feel right for her."
