When I founded Midi, I thought I was starting a menopause company. Very quickly, I saw a far bigger need: a broken system with a shortage of primary care and specialist doctors. A system built for maternity and geriatric care, with almost nothing in between. And against that backdrop, a soaring demand for expert women’s care. The reality is, the number of clinicians, doctor’s offices, and healthcare systems will never grow fast enough to close that gap. So at Midi, we’re pairing expert clinicians with AI-driven clinical intelligence to create a virtual care model accessible to all women—where the breadth and depth of an entire field of medicine is available to every clinician, where admin time is replaced with face time, and we never lose the humans at the core of great care. 

We built Midi on the strongest foundations: clinician-led and insurance-backed. We started with menopause but our patients kept asking: can you help with my weight, my bones, my thyroid, my skin? My preventive care? The answer was always yes. That’s how we came to build a platform that can serve half the population over many decades of their lives.

For the first time, we have the technology, the flexibility, and the cultural awareness we need to actually close the care gap for women in a way that was never possible before. I’m honored that women trust us with their health, and so inspired to be building the standard for the clinician-led, AI-powered care women deserve.
