From emergency care to women’s health: “I began my journey in healthcare in 2010 as an emergency department nurse. I soon transitioned into dementia and Alzheimer’s treatment, where I fell in love with preventive care. Driven by a desire to make a bigger impact, I became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019 and shifted into women’s health, particularly obstetrics and gynecology.”
Inspired to do better: “My dedication to compassionate care comes from a personal experience I’ll never forget. As a teenager, I watched my grandmother’s hospital care fall short. This drove me to pursue medicine so that I could be the one to offer a truly empathetic, patient-centered approach. I’m proud that my journey has led me to work alongside people who share the same focus on patients’ well-being.”
Because midlife women matter: “What excites me most about working in women’s health, especially menopause and hormone health, is the opportunity to help women like me, my mom, and my friends. When patients feel better from the care we create together, it’s incredibly rewarding.”
