Finding my focus: "I began my healthcare career in 1993 in public health, caring for underserved communities. Those early experiences taught me the value of listening and meeting people where they are. As I advanced my career and began to focus on women’s health, I cared for women through every stage of life—and noticed something missing. Too often, conversations in women’s health stopped at reproduction. There was little focus on menopause, sexual health, or the unique needs of women in midlife. It was as if this entire chapter of life had been overlooked, until Midi made it a priority."
Being heard changes everything: "I’ll never forget a patient who came to me feeling exhausted and dismissed. She described hot flashes, sleeplessness, body changes, painful intimacy, the full picture of perimenopause. When I explained that what she was experiencing was a natural transition, but that suffering wasn’t, she burst into tears. For her, simply being heard and understood was the first step toward feeling better."
Shared decisions, supported goals: "My care philosophy is rooted in science and guided by partnership. I bring the best evidence-based information to every visit, and together, my patients and I make decisions that align with their goals and values. I’m here to advise, support, and walk alongside them, because midlife isn’t about decline, it’s about rediscovering balance and joy in a new season of life."
