Bridging culture and care: "I have been in healthcare since 2005, and over the years, I’ve worked in acute care hospitals, trauma and burn centers, correctional facilities, home health, and community care. I also founded a private clinic focused on integrating primary care for 2Spirit and LGBTQAI+ patients, STD testing and treatment, hormone replacement and gender-affirming care, weight management, and mental health."
Asking the questions that matter: "One of the most memorable moments in my practice was with a patient who didn’t understand why intimacy had become painful. After an open, compassionate conversation and treatment with estrogen cream and lubrication, her symptoms resolved and she felt like herself again. That experience reinforced how vital it is to ask about topics that are too often overlooked."
Guided by respect and connection: "I’m committed to providing compassionate, culturally respectful, and evidence-based care, especially for underserved communities. Drawing from my Navajo heritage, I take time to listen, educate, and empower every patient to take an active role in their health."
Empowering midlife women: "At Midi, I’m inspired by seeing the transformation that happens when women in midlife begin to feel like themselves again, both physically and emotionally."
