Caring across every stage: "I’ve been a nurse practitioner since 2017, after previously working as a nurse in women’s services caring for moms and babies in an inpatient setting. My experience includes primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, as well hormone replacement therapy, weight management, and some aesthetics. Throughout my career, I’ve always been drawn to supporting women through transitional phases of life and helping address areas of care that are too often overlooked."
Helping women feel seen: "One of the most rewarding parts of my work is building genuine relationships with patients and reminding them they are not alone in what they’re experiencing. I want women to feel validated, supported, and empowered to prioritize their own wellbeing emotionally, physically, and mentally. I believe education is a big part of that, so I take time to explain what’s happening physiologically in their bodies and involve them in shared decision-making every step of the way."
Finding joy again: "One patient experience that has stayed with me was helping a woman through postpartum depression during a very dark period in her life. Seeing her improve with treatment and begin enjoying motherhood again was incredibly meaningful to me. Moments like that remind me how powerful compassionate, ongoing care can be."
