Book a Visit with Me

A wide lens on women’s health: "I’ve been in healthcare since 2002, starting as a nurse in medical surgical care, labor and delivery, and psychiatry before becoming a nurse practitioner in 2011. Since then, I’ve worked in retail health, convenient care, and outpatient skilled nursing and rehab. Those experiences gave me a broad view of how women move through the healthcare system, and how often their needs are missed along the way."

A personal wake-up call: "I’ve always had a special place in my heart for women’s health, which is why I loved working in labor and delivery. But it wasn’t until I entered midlife alongside my friends that I realized how little even I had been taught about perimenopause and menopause. That moment was eye-opening. I saw firsthand how under-informed and under-supported women are during this stage of life, and wanted to be a part of changing that."

Listening, trusting, believing: "Working in labor and delivery also shaped how I see care. Birth had become so medicalized, with unnecessary interventions and too little trust in women’s instincts. That stayed with me. As a mother of two daughters, I want them, and all women, to feel confident in their bodies, not dismissed or told they’re imagining things."

Connecting the dots: "In convenient care, I often saw midlife women with symptoms that didn’t ‘fit’ neatly into one diagnosis. Instead of sending them down a long, expensive path of referrals, I recognized these as natural hormonal shifts and connected them to the right care. Medicine can be fragmented, but I believe in looking at the whole person. That’s what led me to Midi, and why I’m so passionate about finally giving women the care and attention they deserve."
