A career shaped by listening: "I began my healthcare career in 1996, and over the years I’ve worked in hematology/oncology, hospice, urgent care, and family practice. While each setting taught me something valuable, I spent the majority of my career, about 13 years, in family practice. That’s where I truly began to understand how much women in midlife were carrying, often without feeling fully heard or supported."
Noticing the gap: "Again and again, I met women who were doing everything for everyone else while quietly struggling with their own symptoms. Many told me they felt dismissed or unsure where to turn next. Those conversations stayed with me. I realized that midlife women weren’t lacking resilience, they were lacking care that truly met them where they were."
Why Midi: "I wanted to work in a place that prioritizes thoughtful, personalized care for women in this stage of life. At Midi, there’s space to slow down, ask better questions, and actually connect the dots between symptoms, daily life, and long-term health."
Care built on partnership: "My approach is grounded in collaboration. I believe the best care happens when patients feel comfortable sharing the whole story. Together, we create a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and tailored, so no concern is brushed aside and no one feels like they’re navigating midlife alone."
