Finding the gaps: "I began my nursing career in 2015 working inpatient on an oncology/hematology floor, where I cared for patients during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. After earning my master’s degree and transitioning to an advanced clinical role in family care in 2018, I transitioned to outpatient family practice and served as a primary care provider, managing a wide range of health concerns across the lifespan. It was there that I clearly saw a major gap in healthcare for women, especially around perimenopause and menopause."
Lessons from oncology: "While caring for women diagnosed with breast, endometrial, cervical, and ovarian cancers, I noticed how often providers were hesitant to address perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms. That fear frequently left patients struggling unnecessarily. I learned that when we thoughtfully address hormones and focus on the whole person, many symptoms can significantly improve, even in complex medical situations."
Whole-person care: "My approach is rooted in providing strong, research-based care while also integrating holistic methods. I believe women deserve care that is both evidence-driven and deeply human—care that listens closely, considers the full picture, and never dismisses symptoms as something they simply have to live with."
Why Midi: "I joined Midi because I’m committed to helping close the healthcare gap for women in midlife. Every day, I’m motivated by the opportunity to provide thoughtful, informed care that helps women feel heard, supported, and confident in their treatment plan."
