A foundation in prevention: "I’ve been in healthcare since 2003, when I began my career as a nurse, and stepped into an advanced clinical role in 2016. I earned my Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2023. Over the years, I’ve worked in primary care, retail health, urgent care, academia, and telehealth. No matter the setting, my focus has always been on prevention, wellness, and helping patients stay ahead of their health."
A turning point in care: "Early in my work as a nurse practitioner in primary care, I noticed how many women were putting themselves last. They were juggling careers, families, and responsibilities, often ignoring their own needs. That stayed with me. It shaped how I show up today, making sure every woman I care for feels seen, heard, and reminded that her health matters too."
Whole-person, shared care: "When I work with women in midlife, I start by listening. I validate what they’re feeling and create space for open, honest conversation. From there, we take a shared decision-making approach, looking at the whole person—hormonal changes, lifestyle, stress, sleep, nutrition, and underlying conditions."
Support that continues: "Together, we build a plan with realistic goals and thoughtful follow-up. I want my patients to feel supported every step of the way, with a clear understanding of their options and confidence in the path forward."
