My journey to women's health: "I began my healthcare career in 2009 in pediatrics, and transitioned into family practice in 2013. Since then, I’ve worked in primary care and federally qualified health center settings, caring for medically underserved communities, visiting patients in their homes, and practicing through telemedicine. Along the way, I completed integrative and functional medicine training focused specifically on women, which deepened my understanding of how interconnected and individual women’s health truly is. Joining Midi felt like a natural next step, a place where I can collaborate with like-minded clinicians and support women in midlife in a meaningful, personalized way."
The spark behind my work: "Becoming a mother reshaped how I practice. It showed me firsthand how challenging it is to care for everyone you love while trying to care for yourself. That tension is real. It strengthened my desire to support women in my community and remind them that they deserve to feel good, not just push through. Sometimes, what we need most is a collaborative partner who truly hears us and helps guide the way forward."
Care that meets you where you are: "I always aim to meet the person in front of me where they are, listen closely, and build a plan together that reflects their goals and real life. When a woman comes to me with midlife symptoms, I think about the many roles she carries and how essential it is that she feels well enough to live fully. Relief matters. Feeling like yourself again matters. And having someone in your corner makes all the difference."
