Finding my calling: "I began my nursing career in 1999 working in medical-surgical care, the ER, and ICU, but after just a few months, I found my true calling in women’s health. I spent years caring for women in postpartum, nursery, and labor & delivery before becoming a nurse practitioner focused on women’s health in 2009. Since then, I’ve worked in private OB/GYN practices, helped open women’s health programs in Houston-area community clinics, and launched a thriving rural women’s health practice in Huntsville. In 2021, I completed my post-master’s training in midwifery and later opened my private home birth practice, Heart and Home Midwifery, where I continue to provide gynecologic care."

Listening changes everything: "Throughout my career, some of the most impactful moments have come from caring for women who felt unheard or dismissed. I’ve learned that simply slowing down, listening carefully, and taking concerns seriously can change the course of someone’s health, even leading to life-saving diagnoses. I want women to feel safe asking questions and confident that their concerns matter."

Whole-person care: "Perimenopause and menopause are not conditions to fix. They are natural, powerful transitions that deserve compassionate, individualized care. My approach focuses on thoughtful hormone support, emotional wellness, nutrition, lifestyle, and creating care plans that truly align with each woman’s goals. I want every patient to leave feeling informed, respected, empowered, and genuinely cared for."
