Choosing women’s health: "I began in healthcare in 2017, but my commitment to women’s health started even earlier. While I was in school, I knew I wanted to work in OB/GYN. I saw how often women were brushed aside, told their symptoms were just anxiety, or made to feel like their concerns weren’t real. I wanted to be a different kind of provider—one who offers thoughtful, compassionate care and truly listens."
Experience across the lifespan: "My background spans pediatrics, women’s health, geriatrics, and telehealth. Caring for patients at every stage of life has shaped how I practice today, especially as I care for women navigating midlife. I’m also in my own perimenopausal season, which deepens my understanding of how disruptive—and how fixable—this time can be."
Listening changes outcomes: "One patient in her early 30s came in for a routine well-woman exam and told me her abdominal fullness was 'normal for her.' Trusting my exam and asking more questions led to imaging that revealed an 18-centimeter ovarian mass. Her gratitude for being taken seriously reinforced why careful exams, strong advocacy, and clear communication matter so much."
Care that fits real life: "My philosophy is simple: listen closely and take symptoms seriously. When patients leave a visit with me, I want them to feel heard, appreciated, and well cared for. In midlife care, I focus on treatment plans that fit a patient’s lifestyle—approaches they can realistically sustain so they can feel better and fully enjoy this chapter of life."
