Advocating for the unheard: "I began my journey in women’s health in the U.S. healthcare system in 2018, building on my previous experience working as a midwife in Russia. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to caring for women at every stage, but it was my own personal experience being unheard that drew me to midlife care. I realized so many women feel dismissed during this time, and I wanted to change that.'
A spark of empowerment: "I’ll never forget a patient who came in, feeling isolated by weight gain and mood changes. Once we talked, she chose a path that fit her life, and now she’s thriving. Those moments are why I do this every single day."
Listening as the foundation: "What inspires me most is creating a space where women feel seen. Education is critical, but first, I listen, really listen, so that I understand each patient’s story. I then offer options, from hormone therapy to lifestyle changes, always breaking down the physiology so they feel in control."
