Built at the bedside: "I’ve been in healthcare since 1999, and my career began at the bedside, where I cared for women in labor and delivery, surgery, recovery, and triage. I also served as an educator for a large women’s services program at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston while earning my Master of Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center. Those years shaped how I listen, teach, and show up for patients."
Walking alongside women: "Over my career I’ve had extensive experience caring for high-risk obstetrics, infertility, and gynecologic patients, as well as working in public health. Some of the most meaningful moments in my work happen when a patient tells me they finally understand what’s going on with their body—and that their anxiety has eased. Caring for women who’ve experienced multiple pregnancies or losses has been especially rewarding, and those connections continue to fuel my work."
Care as a partnership: "My care philosophy is simple: we are a team. I respect each patient’s decisions and believe my role is to provide clear, thorough information so they can make choices that feel right for them."
Guiding women through midlife: "Many of my former obstetric patients are now navigating perimenopause and menopause. Seeing the need for better education, for both providers and patients, led me to this work. I’m passionate about helping women feel well-supported during this stage of life so they can protect their quality of life, relationships, and work, and feel confident moving forward."
