Finding the missing piece: "I began my nursing career in 2012, and over the years worked in sub-acute rehab, cardiology, and emergency medicine before earning my nurse practitioner degree from Drexel University in 2023. In primary care, I saw patients of every age and background, managing everything from acute illnesses to chronic conditions, but it was caring for women in midlife that truly changed the direction of my work."
The moment everything clicked: "For years, I had seen women come through the emergency department with dizziness, heart palpitations, insomnia, anxiety, and symptoms that never seemed to have a clear answer. Later, those same women sat in my exam room frustrated and exhausted after being told their tests were ‘normal.’ One patient struggling with debilitating dizziness changed everything for me. After learning more about menopause and hormone therapy, I realized her symptoms fit a pattern I had been seeing for years. When she finally felt relief, I knew I had found the work I was meant to do."
Care that feels collaborative: "I want every woman to leave our visit feeling heard, informed, and confident in her options. Menopause is deeply personal, and treatment should never feel one-size-fits-all. Whether we explore hormonal or non-hormonal approaches, my goal is to give women the education and tools they need to make the decisions that feel right for them."
