Access to care matters: "I began my nursing career in 2017 in the operating room, caring for patients in trauma, orthopedic, plastic, gynecology, and ophthalmology surgery. After becoming a nurse practitioner in 2022, I worked in pain management, aesthetic medicine, internal medicine, and weight loss care. Those experiences showed me how proper access to care, implementing lifestyle changes, and feeling truly supported can shape patients' health and confidence."
Improving quality of life: "While working in internal medicine and weight loss, I found myself especially drawn to patients in perimenopause who were searching for answers. Seeing women finally feel heard and witnessing their quality of life improve made me realize how meaningful this work is. One patient I’ll never forget lost over 100 lbs. She told me she never thought she could achieve that level of health at this stage in her life. Watching her regain her confidence, energy, and sense of self reinforced why I do what I do."
Midlife is valuable: "My care philosophy is centered on helping women feel comfortable in their own skin, both mentally and physically. I want patients to know they are not alone in what they’re experiencing and to leave visits feeling empowered and hopeful they can feel like themselves again. My personal experiences have helped me connect with patients on a deeper level and provide compassionate, judgment-free care. Supporting women through this stage of life is a privilege I never take for granted."
