Women helping women: "I’ve been caring for women since 2004, when I began my career as a nurse in labor and delivery after graduating from TCU. After several years supporting women through pregnancy and childbirth, I transitioned to a women’s clinic setting and continued building my experience in women’s health. In 2011, I became a women’s health nurse practitioner. I joined Midi because I’m passionate about bringing awareness, education, and care to women in midlife so they can live their best lives."
The power of being heard: "One of the most meaningful parts of my work is listening to women’s stories. Many patients come to me feeling frustrated, unheard, or worried that their symptoms are simply something they have to accept. I take the time to validate their concerns, explain the normal changes that can occur during midlife, and help them understand that there are options. Seeing a patient regain confidence, feel better physically and emotionally, and realize they don’t have to suffer in silence is incredibly rewarding."
Validation and empowerment: "I want every patient to leave a visit feeling heard, validated, and empowered. I believe education and trust are the foundation of great care, and I’m proud to be part of an organization that shares those values. Together, we create a plan that fits each woman’s unique goals, symptoms, and stage of life."
Walking the journey together: "As a woman in midlife myself, I understand many of the physical and emotional changes that can come with this stage of life. My own health experiences have reinforced the importance of support and evidence-based care. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family. I feel privileged to help women navigate midlife and beyond with confidence, knowledge, and optimism."
