Seeing the full picture: "I’ve been in healthcare for 15 years, starting as a registered nurse in 2009. I worked in level 1 trauma, medical-surgical care, PCU, and the ER before transitioning into outpatient care, including workman’s comp clinics. I became a nurse practitioner in 2020, and since then I’ve worked in urgent care, occupational health, and now primary care full-time. Across all of these settings, I’ve seen how often women’s symptoms, especially in midlife, are overlooked or misunderstood."
Filling a gap I’ve felt myself: "As both a provider and a patient, I’ve experienced how difficult it can be to find someone who truly understands hormone health. I’ve had patients come in week after week being treated for urinary tract infections, when what they’re really experiencing are menopausal symptoms like vaginal atrophy. When we shift the approach and treat the root cause, everything changes—they feel better, and they’re no longer stuck on unnecessary medications."
Listening as care: "My philosophy is simple: I listen, I validate, and we figure it out together. I want my patients to feel heard and understood, especially if they’ve seen multiple providers and still don’t have answers. There are options. You don’t have to just live with these symptoms."
Care that makes a difference: "What draws me to Midi is the chance to truly practice this kind of care—helping women understand what’s happening in their bodies and offering real solutions. This is the kind of medicine that makes people feel like themselves again."
