Connecting the dots: "I have been in healthcare since 2006, and a nurse practitioner since 2011. Throughout my career, I’ve always been passionate about patient education and helping people understand the ‘why’ behind their symptoms and treatment plans."
Root-cause care: "My own experience with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis shaped the way I practice and deepened my interest in women’s health, hormones, thyroid disease, and metabolic health. It led me to explore functional medicine, nutrition, lifestyle interventions, and root-cause approaches to care. I love working with women during midlife transitions because so many symptoms are overlooked or dismissed, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help patients feel heard, supported, and empowered."
Helping women feel like themselves again: "One patient story that stays with me was a menopausal woman who had seen multiple providers for anxiety, depression, hair loss, brain fog, and fatigue. She had been prescribed medications for each symptom, but no one had identified the underlying cause: hormone imbalance. After a comprehensive evaluation and thoughtful discussion about treatment options, she decided to begin hormone therapy. At our follow-up, she told me she finally felt like herself again—she was sleeping, thinking clearly, and had her energy back. Moments like that remind me why I do this work and why I’m so excited to be part of Midi, where evidence-based women’s healthcare is both accessible and deeply personalized."
