Growing with purpose: "I became a nurse in 2006, starting on a medical-surgical unit at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Illinois. After a year, I transitioned to the cardiac ICU, where I spent seven years caring for critically ill patients. That experience shaped my clinical judgment and deepened my compassion. While working there, I realized I wanted to do more. I earned my master’s degree in nursing education because I love teaching, and in 2013 I moved into advanced practice so I could expand my impact even further."
Wanting more for women: "My path has included urgent care at CVS MinuteClinic, volunteering at a pregnancy helpline providing free STD testing and limited OB ultrasounds, and five years in a community clinic caring for patients of all ages. Along the way, I noticed something that stayed with me: women in midlife were struggling — with weight, hormones, mood, energy — and often not being heard. I didn’t want this stage of life to feel like a constant uphill battle. I wanted it to feel like a victory."
Finding the right fit: "When I read the job description for Midi, I kept thinking, yes, yes, yes — this is it. I’m here to listen, to validate, and to create practical, personalized plans so women feel strong, informed, and back in control of their bodies."
