Book a Visit with Me

A wide lens on care: "I’ve been in healthcare since 2007, with a clinical background that spans cardiac ICU nursing, pediatric GI, adolescent medicine, family practice, wound care, and women’s health. Alongside clinical work, teaching has always been part of my professional identity. I’ve held academic roles at TCU and Thomas Jefferson University, and I am currently faculty at Georgetown University. That blend of hands-on care and education has shaped how I think about medicine—thoughtful, evolving, and grounded in evidence."

Being heard matters: "Over time, I’ve seen how often patients feel like just a number in the healthcare system. What has shaped me most are the moments when someone finally feels truly listened to, and you can almost see the weight lift. My goal is for patients to leave feeling heard, understood, and relieved that they don’t have to figure everything out on their own."

Midlife, personally and professionally: "Caring for women in midlife feels especially meaningful to me because I’m in this stage of life myself. I’ve watched friends and family struggle through this phase of life, and learning what resources and options exist now has been incredibly motivating. I’m passionate about helping women access care that’s informed, supportive, and empowering."

Care that evolves: "I believe patient care is dynamic—it changes as life changes and as medicine evolves. What should remain constant is a sense of understanding and trust. I strive to create a comfortable, welcoming space where patients feel safe opening up. If someone recommended me to a friend, I hope they’d say I’m kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely present."
