A trustworthy space: "My background is in primary care, where I’ve cared for a wide range of conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, obesity, anxiety, and depression. I’ve also focused heavily on prevention, especially reducing cardiovascular and chronic kidney disease risk and addressing metabolic health early. My path to nursing started in healthcare research, where I realized how much I loved building relationships with the people I cared for. I wanted to be the friendly, trustworthy face patients looked forward to seeing."
Closing the gap: "As a primary care provider, I noticed so many women in midlife coming to me with the same concerns, and I often felt I didn’t have the tools I needed to help them as effectively as I wanted. I saw how menopause could bring not only hot flashes, mood changes, and sleep disruption, but also important changes in cardiovascular and metabolic health. That gap inspired me to deepen my education and join Midi, where I can focus on care that women truly need."
Your comfort matters most: "I want every patient to feel like they’re talking to a peer or a friend. I explain what’s happening in a way that’s easy to understand, without overwhelming people with medical jargon. My goal is for women to leave feeling comfortable, heard, and armed with information so they can make informed decisions about their care."
Finding the right approach: "I approach symptoms thoughtfully and consider other possible contributors, rather than assuming everything is related to menopause. Safety is always my first priority. When treatment is appropriate and safe, I believe there are many options to explore, both hormonal and non-hormonal, and I want to help each patient find the approach that fits her."
