Finding my purpose in women’s health: "I have been caring for patients since 2007, starting my career as a nurse in the emergency department and labor and delivery before becoming a family nurse practitioner in 2010. Since then, I’ve worked in hematology and oncology, pediatrics, primary care, and obstetrics and gynecology. I joined Midi because I believe women deserve better answers. Too often, women are told their symptoms are ‘just part of getting older’ or that they simply have to live with them. I enjoy helping women connect the dots between their symptoms, hormones, and overall health so they can better understand what’s happening in their bodies and feel confident about their treatment options."
Care that begins with listening: "My passion for women’s health is personal. During my first pregnancy, I was cared for by midwives and nurse practitioners who listened without judgment and made me feel heard during one of the most uncertain times in my life. That experience has stayed with me and shaped the kind of clinician I strive to be today. I believe the best care starts with listening, asking questions, and making decisions together. My goal is for every woman to feel respected, supported, and actively involved in her care."
Helping women reclaim their quality of life: "One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping women realize their symptoms are real, treatable, and don't have to be accepted as "just a part of aging." I enjoy helping women make sense of what’s happening in their bodies and creating personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that fit their lives. It is especially rewarding when patients return and tell me they're sleeping better, have more energy, or feel more like themselves again. Knowing I have played a small part in helping improve someone's quality of life is what makes this work so meaningful to me."
