From critical care to women’s care: "I’ve been a nurse since 1996, beginning my career in the ICU and CVICU, where I spent 15 years caring for critically ill patients. I earned my Master’s in Nursing in 2009 and became a nurse practitioner, later co-owning an independent clinic with my business partner for the past 15 years. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for patients across the lifespan, with a lot of experience treating chronic illness, women’s health concerns, and weight management."
Finding purpose in midlife health: "As I entered midlife myself and began experiencing symptoms of perimenopause and menopause, I became more deeply drawn to women’s health. I saw how many women were struggling to find relief and how frustrating it was to feel dismissed or unsupported. That’s what drew me to Midi. I love the mission and the fact that it’s women changing healthcare for women."
Listening beyond the symptoms: "One patient came to me after being passed from specialist to specialist for burning and numbness in her hands. As she shared how defeated she felt, I noticed a large nodule on her neck that no one had examined. She was eventually diagnosed with lymphoma, and the mass was compressing nerves. That experience reinforced something I believe deeply: listening and truly assessing the whole person matters."
Care that makes women feel seen: "I want every patient to feel heard and to know they matter. My goal is for women to leave a visit feeling supported, understood, and confident that I will do my very best to help them overcome whatever they may be encountering."
