From ICU to midlife advocacy: "I began my nursing career in 2011, working in the ICU, PCU, and on a dedicated stroke unit. Those early years gave me a deep respect for complex care and the long-term impact of chronic disease. In 2018, I became a nurse practitioner after graduating from Villanova University, and transitioned into post-acute rehab and primary care. It was there that I began to see a pattern: women’s midlife concerns were often brushed aside or minimized."
The gap became personal: "When I entered perimenopause myself, I was struck by how difficult it was to find clear, informed guidance. At the same time, I was caring for older patients living with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis. I couldn’t help but wonder how many of those outcomes might have been prevented with earlier support. That realization changed everything for me."
Prevention with purpose: "I believe midlife is not something to ‘push through,’ but a pivotal window for prevention and renewal. I take time to listen closely and create thoughtful plans around hormones, weight changes, and long-term health. My goal is simple: help women feel heard, informed, and empowered — not just for today, but for decades to come."
