Stepping into a gap in women’s care: "I began my healthcare career in 2011 and quickly transitioned into family care. Over the years, I’ve worked in ear nose and throat, medical-surgical post-op, pediatrics, case management, urgent care, and family medicine. Each role has given me a deeper understanding of how to support people through some of their most vulnerable moments."
The golden rule of care: "One of the most defining experiences of my career was caring for my mom after surgery. Being on the other side of the bed taught me how it feels to trust someone with your wellbeing. It shaped the empathy, patience, and level of care I bring to every patient, because I always want them to feel as safe and supported as I wanted her to feel."
Passion rooted in connection: "Outside of work, I’m a down-to-earth person who loves caring for animals as much as I care for people. My daughter and I ride horses, and we also rescue horses. We have two dogs and a rescue cat. I come from a place where farming and outdoor living are part of everyday life, and we’re looking forward to building our farm in the future. That grounded, real-world warmth is something I bring into every patient conversation."
