Finding my path in women’s health: "I began my career in healthcare in 2008 as a labor and delivery nurse, where I spent a decade supporting women through some of life’s most pivotal moments. In 2019, I became a nurse practitioner and continued to work exclusively in Women's Health. About three years ago, I began focusing more deeply on midlife and menopause care, and it quickly became the most meaningful work of my career."
Care that gives life back: "I once cared for a woman navigating perimenopause after a history of severe postpartum depression. She was understandably anxious about what hormonal changes might bring. Over the course of a year, we worked together to find the right combination of hormone therapy and medication adjustments. At the end of that journey, she told me I hadn’t just helped her feel better—I had given her back her life. That moment stays with me. It’s a reminder that treating symptoms like sleep disruption, anxiety, or hot flashes can truly help women feel like themselves again."
Creative, compassionate partnership: "My approach to care is informed, creative, and compassionate. I want my patients to feel confident in my expertise, but also to know that there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. We can think outside the box together—and I’m deeply invested in finding what works best for them."
Starting with the big picture: "I begin by understanding what a patient’s life looks like now—and what she wants it to look like. From there, we set meaningful goals and focus on the symptoms that may be standing in her way, so she can move through this stage of life feeling supported and fully herself."
