From cardiac care to whole-person care: "I’ve been in healthcare since 1997, starting as a registered nurse in cardiac care, including telemetry and cardiac cath lab. In 2009, I became a nurse practitioner and spent 16 years in primary care and family practice, caring for patients of all ages and navigating everything from chronic conditions to behavioral health and women’s health. Over time, I realized I didn’t want to be a jack of all trades, I wanted to go deeper."
Finding what was missing: "Throughout my career, I cared for many women in their 30s and beyond who were struggling with weight changes, mood shifts, hair loss, low libido, and unpredictable cycles. I could see how much these symptoms were affecting their lives, and I knew there had to be more I could offer, but didn’t yet have the tools or training to fully support them. That realization is what led me to Midi."
Care built on connection: "I believe the best care starts with a strong, ongoing relationship. Midlife symptoms are deeply personal, and not something most women feel comfortable talking about to just anyone. I want my patients to feel safe coming back to me, asking questions, and sharing openly, even when something changes or stops working."
Going deeper, together: "At Midi, I’m able to truly focus on these concerns and help women navigate the changes happening in their bodies. I take the time to listen, explore what’s really going on, and work with each patient to find solutions that fit their life, so they can feel like themselves again."
