A life in women’s health: “I’ve been in clinical practice in women’s health since 2003, starting in labor and delivery. I have worked in a variety of settings, including ten years working at Penn for the women’s health department. Over the years, I’ve grown more passionate about advocating for women at every stage—especially during the midlife transition, when care often feels lacking.”
The power of presence: “Early in my training, I worked with a Nurse Practitioner who deeply influenced my approach to care. She made every patient feel truly seen and heard. I promised myself then that I’d carry that same presence into my own practice. Whether I’m meeting a patient in person or via telehealth, I’m intentional about body language and attention: facing them fully, focusing on active listening, and making sure they feel like my priority.”
You’re in the driver’s seat: “My patients are in control. I'm here to offer guidance, education, and options, but ultimately, the decisions are theirs. What matters most is that they feel heard, respected, and validated. I take pride in building trusting relationships, especially when so many women have felt rushed or dismissed elsewhere.”
