A broader view of women’s health: "I became a nurse in 2016 and a nurse practitioner in 2020. My background in family practice gave me experience caring for patients of all ages and managing a wide range of conditions. Today, I bring that broad perspective to women’s health, keeping the whole person, and their other health conditions, in mind."
Helping women feel like themselves again: "I became passionate about midlife women’s health after seeing how many women developed new symptoms and health concerns during perimenopause and menopause, even when they were otherwise living healthy, active lives. I wanted to find ways to help women stay functional, active, and engaged in the people and things they love."
Never settling: "One patient especially shaped my approach. Because of her complex medical history, she wasn’t a candidate for hormone therapy, and she had previously been told she would simply have to live with her symptoms. After we talked through safe options, she started a treatment plan tailored to her needs. A month later, she returned in tears and told me, ‘I can’t believe no one ever tried this before.’ She said I saved her marriage and that her son finally had his mom back."
Listening is where care begins: "I want every woman to leave a visit feeling listened to, understood, and respected, with a concrete plan. My goal is to help women move through menopause without letting it slow them down or take away the joys of life."
