From preemies to perimenopause: “I started my career in a neonatal ICU, where I worked for nearly four years before earning my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a dual focus in family and pediatric care in 2017. Over the years, I’ve worked in family medicine, urgent care, and women’s health. My passion, though, lies in supporting women through all phases of life, especially midlife.”
Respect isn’t a premium: “One experience that’s always stuck with me happened while I was working in an underserved community. A patient with Medi-Cal told me he’d rarely felt respected in the healthcare system. He was shocked that I actually listened and cared. That moment reinforced something I believe deeply: every patient deserves to feel seen, valued, and cared for, regardless of their background or insurance.”
Compassion + collaboration = care: “I believe good care is a partnership. My nursing roots keep me grounded in compassion, and I take pride in creating a space where patients feel heard and involved in every decision. Simply helping them feel less alone and more informed can make all the difference.”
