Listening as care: "I’m a nurse practitioner with eight years of experience in primary care, working closely with patients managing chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and weight concerns. Over the years, I’ve seen how deeply physical health impacts emotional well-being and quality of life. When patients feel better about themselves, they’re often able to reengage with their everyday lives in meaningful ways."
Helping patients reclaim joy: "One patient I cared for was struggling with depression and barely wanted to get out of bed. As we worked together on her weight, nutrition, exercise, and overall health, she slowly began to feel like herself again. She started getting up every day, enjoying life, and reconnecting with the world around her. Experiences like that remind me how important it is for patients to feel heard and supported."
Expanding care for women in midlife: "What drew me to Midi was the opportunity to better support women through perimenopause and menopause. In primary care, we didn’t receive much training in hormone replacement therapy, and I wanted to change that for my patients. Now, I’m excited to help women find relief from symptoms that are too often dismissed or untreated."
Building trust together: "At the core of my care is listening, really listening, and empowering women to understand their bodies. I believe that by building trust, we can create care plans that fit each person’s unique life so they feel supported every step of the way."
