Pioneering holistic healthcare: "Having been in healthcare since the late 90’s, I’ve dedicated my career to integrating wellness into healthcare and was an early pioneer in preventive health. While working at Stanford, I witnessed the profound impact of chronic illness, which inspired me to help develop one of California’s first community college programs combining nutrition, health coaching, and mental health. In 2024, I completed my post-master’s training as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a focus on integrating mental and physical health. My clinical approach emphasizes treating the whole person, not just individual symptoms."
A difficult journey: "Following an early hysterectomy in my late 40s, I experienced early menopause without clear guidance, an experience that opened my eyes to the gaps in women’s healthcare. Navigating that transition personally deepened my commitment to integrative, compassionate care. I came to understand firsthand how closely hormonal changes are tied to mental and emotional well-being, and how important it is for women to feel truly supported during this stage of life."
Supporting the whole woman: "I have a deep passion for integrative mental health, which is one of the reasons I’m drawn to Midi. Its whole-person approach recognizes how closely mental, hormonal, and physical health are connected, especially during midlife. This philosophy strongly aligns with how I believe women should be cared for: with empathy, thoughtful listening, and comprehensive, individualized support."
My professional motto: "Prevent when possible, treat when needed, and empower always. I thrive on empowering women, restoring their trust in healthcare, and helping them embrace this exciting chapter of life with strength and vitality."
