Grounded in women’s health: "I’ve been in healthcare since 2007, and my career spans more than 20 years in women’s health and maternal/child care, with much of that time spent in hospital settings. Over the past few years, I’ve worked in urgent care and as a primary care provider in clinic settings before finding my home at Midi."
Creating space to be seen: "My path to Midi is deeply personal. During an appointment with my last son, I remember wanting to speak up about how I was really feeling, but I didn’t. I put on a mask and acted like everything was fine when it wasn’t. That experience stayed with me. When I became a provider, I promised myself I would be someone my patients could truly talk to and be vulnerable with. Midi embodies that promise."
Listening changes everything: "One moment that stays with me happened here at Midi. At the end of a visit, a patient broke down in tears and told me I was her last hope—no one before me had listened, and she had started to believe she was ‘crazy.’ I carry that with me into every visit. My goal is to give patients hope and, at the very least, understanding."
Care, tailored to you: "I treat my patients the way I would want to be treated. I listen, validate their experiences, explain what’s happening in clear, human language, and answer questions openly. Treatment is never one-size-fits-all, it’s built around each individual. I want every patient to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful."
