A career rooted in women’s health: "I started my career straight out of high school as a nursing assistant and went on to become an LPN, registered nurse, and Nurse Practitioner. I’ve cared for patients from birth through the end of life, working in many different settings along the way. Women’s health has always been where my heart is. I joined Midi because I saw how often women’s needs were overlooked, and I wanted to help women feel their very best."
The patient who changed my perspective: "Early in my journey with hormone therapy, a patient in my family practice repeatedly asked me about HRT. I was hesitant, and we tried other treatments without giving her the relief she needed. After taking a course in hormone replacement therapy, I finally felt comfortable prescribing it. When she began feeling like herself again, I realized how much my hesitation had cost her. I knew I never wanted another woman to go through that. That experience completely changed the way I approach care. With greater training, understanding, and confidence, I’ve made it a priority to help women feel heard, informed, and supported when making decisions about their health. I want to help break down the barriers that have historically made it difficult for women to get the answers and treatment they deserve, and to create a space where their symptoms are taken seriously and their concerns are met with compassion and evidence-based care."
Life beyond medicine: "Outside of Midi, I also work in a medical spa and urgent care. My husband and I love traveling the world, and we’re enthusiastic big-game hunters. Exploring new places and experiencing the outdoors together brings me a lot of joy."
