A strong foundation: "I became a nurse in 2008 and spent nine years working in trauma and emergency medicine at a Level 1 trauma center. I then became a nurse practitioner in 2018 and have since focused on weight management and women’s health. I love women’s health because everyone’s puzzle is missing a different piece. I love the challenge of finding that piece and then getting to see everything come together in a positive change."
Listening matters: "I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to feel that something isn’t right with your body and not feel heard. I also know how invaluable it is to have a provider who listens, takes your concerns seriously, and stays with you through the process."
Care that continues: "I believe continuity of care is so important. Having a provider who is going to stick with you as you make changes allows me to focus on every aspect of the patient, from the smallest details to the largest. There is nothing better than watching a patient make a mental and physical 180 and feel like a better version of herself—for herself and for the people she loves."
