Book a Visit with Me

A lifetime in women’s health: "I’ve been in healthcare since 1988, beginning as a nurse in Washington, D.C. before returning home to Atlanta. I entered advanced practice in women’s health in 1996 and expanded my care to include midwifery in 2000. Over the years, I’ve cared for patients across the full lifespan—from teenagers to women in their 80s—and across many settings, including OB/GYN, reproductive health, and high-risk care alongside a perinatologist. I’ve also spent much of my career teaching, supporting learners from licensed practical nurses to doctoral students. I joined Midi because of its strong reputation and the depth of its evidence-based resources for women."

Listening changes everything: "One patient came to me after nearly a year of unresolved symptoms that others had dismissed. Instead of writing her off, I listened closely and explored every option, including an old-school remedy. That decision made all the difference, and she finally found relief. Moments like that remind me that when women feel heard, we open the door to real solutions."

Care that prevents and empowers: "I also cared for a first-time pregnant patient at high risk for cervical complications. Because I knew her history and listened carefully, we were able to intervene early and prevent a loss. She went on to have multiple healthy pregnancies. That experience reinforced how powerful it is to truly know your patient."

My approach to care: "I believe women need space to be heard, understood, and validated. My approach is rooted in listening deeply, asking the right questions, and creating a plan that reflects each woman’s unique experience. Especially in midlife, I focus on clarity, partnership, and making sure no concern goes unaddressed."
