A lifelong path in women’s health: "I began my career as a nurse in 1994, starting in the emergency room where I spent nine years caring for patients in fast-paced, high-stakes situations. In 2003, I completed my master’s degree and advanced my career in women’s health. I started my nurse practitioner career in hospital-based obstetric clinics before joining a private OB/GYN practice, where I worked with the same physician for 18 years. During that time, I became a surgical first assistant and have spent more than 20 years assisting in procedures including C-sections, hysterectomies, myomectomies, and other gynecologic surgeries. I’ve also helped open and run an aesthetic med spa, performing treatments ranging from liposuction to Botox and laser procedures."
Learning by listening: "In my first week at that OB/GYN practice, the doctor I worked with said, ‘Come on—we have to go do a C-section.’ I told her I had never done surgery before. She simply asked if I could follow directions. I said yes, and off we went. That moment taught me something I carry into every patient visit: listen carefully, stay observant, and never stop learning."
Care built on trust: "What matters most to me is that women feel heard and understood. I want every patient to feel comfortable sharing their concerns and confident that we’re creating a plan that truly fits their needs."
Helping women feel like themselves again: "No matter what phase of life a woman is in, my goal is to help her feel like the very best version of herself. When women have the right support and solutions, it can make a powerful difference in how they experience their everyday lives."
