Drawn to women’s health: "I’ve been caring for women since I started as a nurse in 2008, beginning my career in the labor and delivery unit. After earning my master’s degree in 2014, I became a nurse practitioner in 2015 and spent about nine years at Planned Parenthood before joining Midi in January 2025. I’ve always found women’s health fascinating, especially the opportunity to teach women about their bodies and help them take charge of their health."
Listening, then finding solutions: "So many women come to me after feeling brushed off or told everything is fine. One patient had been tired for years, but no one had checked her iron and ferritin. Her levels were low, and after receiving iron infusions, she felt dramatically better. It reminded me how much can change when we listen closely and look a little deeper."
Creating a plan together: "I want women to feel heard, and I also want them to feel like we accomplished something. We’ve created a plan, explored options, and they know they have my support. I start by understanding their top concerns, what they know about treatment, and what they are comfortable with. I will provide recommendations, but ultimately, we make decisions together."
Finding the humor: "I love to laugh and try not to take life too seriously. I want my patients to feel comfortable finding a little humor in life, too. Seeing a woman go from feeling lost at her first visit to feeling like herself again is incredibly inspiring to me."
