A new perspective: "I became a nurse in 2005 after earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, spending seven years in labor and delivery. During that time I returned to graduate school to pursue my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. I earned my MSN in women's health and became a women's health nurse practitioner in 2014. I've always been passionate about women's health, but attending an in-depth hormone therapy conference in 2016 gave me a whole new perspective. I realized how many effective options exist to help women feel their best, yet many of these treatments and resources remain underutilized. That experience transformed the way I care for patients and led me to focus on helping women navigate midlife with confidence."
Helping women feel like themselves: "My favorite visits are the follow-up appointments. Nothing makes me happier than hearing a woman tell me she finally feels like herself again. Seeing that transformation and knowing I've helped improve her quality of life is what inspires me every day."
Listening comes first: "When we first meet, my goal is for you to feel heard. Many women come to me after feeling brushed off or being told that what they're experiencing is simply a normal part of aging. I want you to know your concerns matter, your symptoms are real, and there are options that can help."
A personalized plan: "Every treatment plan starts with listening. We'll talk through your symptoms, discuss both non-hormonal and hormonal options when appropriate, and explore how each approach may fit your goals and lifestyle. Together, we'll create a plan that's tailored to you and continue adjusting it so you can feel your best."
