Building trust first: "I began my career in nursing in 2008, continued my training in 2010, and later advanced into family practice as a nurse practitioner in 2014. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked primarily in the ER and also spent time in home health. My experience in primary care showed me how important it is for patients to feel truly heard and supported, and it led me to focus my work on helping women in midlife feel better in their own bodies by optimizing hormone health and restoring balance wherever possible."
Listening beyond the lab results: "Patients often tell me they appreciate that I’m open, honest, and easy to talk to. I strive to care for every patient the way I would want my own family cared for — with compassion, transparency, and practical guidance. Many of the patients I see have already tried multiple providers or different approaches without positive results, and sometimes what they’ve been missing most is someone willing to sit down, listen carefully, and treat the patient instead of just the lab results. A wise mentor once told me that if you listen closely enough, your patient will often give you the diagnosis, and that has deeply resonated with me throughout my career."
Patient-centered, evidence-based care: "My approach is grounded in evidence-based care with a patient-centered focus. I want patients to feel like active participants in their healthcare decisions, with space to share what they want while also understanding what they need from a medical standpoint. At Midi, I’m inspired by the opportunity to help women who may not have previously felt supported or understood. I want my patients to feel empowered, informed, and confident in their health."
