Guided by compassion and curiosity: "I began my healthcare career in a step-down ventilator unit, where I helped patients transition from ICU care to home or rehabilitation. It was there that I discovered my love for teaching — guiding patients and their families through each step of recovery. Over the years, I’ve worked in ICU, management, labor and delivery, and gynecology/oncology, as well as teaching future nurses as an adjunct professor. Each role deepened my passion for patient education and empowerment."
Empowering women through every stage: "I’ve always been passionate about helping women navigate life’s many transitions, and midlife is such an important one. So many women experience changes that are often misunderstood or dismissed. At Midi, I have the opportunity to focus on this population — helping women regain balance, confidence, and quality of life through evidence-based, compassionate care."
Listening as the foundation: "My approach to care begins with listening. Every woman’s experience is unique, and I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space where she feels truly heard. One of my most memorable moments was with a patient who hadn’t slept well in a month, struggling with night sweats and mood changes that were affecting her home life. After starting hormone therapy and small lifestyle changes, she returned months later in tears — but this time from relief. She said she finally felt like herself again. That moment reminds me why I do this work: it’s about helping women reclaim their sense of joy and well-being."
