Caring for women across the lifespan: "I began working in women’s health in 2014, and I’ve spent my career providing full-scope women’s healthcare in diverse community health settings. Working with diverse communities early on taught me to show up first and foremost as a patient advocate—someone who listens closely, explains clearly, and makes sure every woman feels seen."
Slowing care down: "I once met a patient whose primary care provider scheduled her with me for a contraception visit who also had uncontrolled diabetes. She mentioned she was open to pregnancy but didn’t understand why her primary care provider had advised her to wait. When I explained how diabetes could potentially lead to complications or birth defects, she paused, nodded, and thanked me for finally giving her the ‘why’ behind the recommendation. Moments like that reaffirm the power of slowing down, offering full information, and partnering in decision-making."
Prioritizing education: "My role is to educate, offer options, and empower patients to make choices that feel right for them. I believe in care that supports the whole person, not just the absence of disease, but helping women feel their best in daily life."
Quality care at the heart of it all: "Caring for women’s overall health and wellness has always been a priority for me, and I’m grateful that Midi embraces that same vision. I love that we combine medical care with nutrition and lifestyle support to meet women exactly where they are."
