An unexpected path: "I graduated from Arizona State University in 2002 and started my career at the Mayo Clinic in Oncology, Hematology, and Bone Marrow Transplant. My plan was to become a Medivac nurse, but during a travel job in Las Vegas, a veteran Labor & Delivery nurse saw something in me I didn’t yet see in myself. She pulled me into deliveries and newborn care, and I was instantly hooked. I left my plan of flying behind and never looked back."
Empowering women through change: "Over the years, I’ve worked in 13 states in labor and delivery. I recently completed a psychiatric mental health post-graduate program to expand my ability to provide holistic care for mind, body, and spirit. What fuels me most is hearing a patient say, ‘Thank you for making me feel like me again.’ Women deserve relief — menopause may be natural, but it’s not something we should simply suffer through."
My approach: "My goal is to help women feel like themselves again. That begins with truly hearing my patients, not just listening. I ask questions that get to the heart of how symptoms are interfering with their lives, then we build a plan together — prioritizing what matters most to them. With my background in both women’s health and mental health, I support not only the physical changes of midlife but also the psychological ones, walking alongside women through the full spectrum of this transition."
