My Journey to women's health: "I started my nursing career in 2018 in emergency medicine, then transitioned to the PACU before becoming a nurse practitioner in 2023. Over the past few years in primary care, I’ve cared for patients across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatric adults. That experience taught me how to zoom out and see the full picture."
Listening beyond the label: "I’ll never forget a patient who came in for a routine physical, mentioning hot flashes and palpitations but brushing them off as perimenopausal symptoms. Something didn’t sit right. With her permission, I ran an EKG and found she was in atrial fibrillation with a heart rate of 180. That moment reinforced how important it is to pause, ask more questions, and never assume. Symptoms deserve attention, always."
Filling a gap in care: "I joined Midi because I wanted to do more than say ‘it’s just a part of life.’ I was seeing too many women left without answers or options. Here, I can be part of changing that, offering real solutions and contributing to care that’s evolving and evidence-based."
Care that connects the dots: "My approach is thoughtful and individualized. I look at the entire person, not just the symptom list, and build treatment plans that reflect each patient’s needs and goals. I want my patients to feel heard, supported, and confident that we’re figuring things out—together."
