From bedside to big-picture care: "Beginning my career in 2006, I first worked in labor delivery and travel nursing. I then transitioned to OB/GYN private practice and women’s clinics before moving into functional medicine, hormone replacement, and medical weight loss care. In 2017, I earned a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. Along the way, I’ve also served in clinical leadership, worked as a medical director, and consulted on new practice startups and expansions."
Filling a critical gap: "Over time, I saw a clear gap in accessible, affordable, evidence-based menopausal care that’s covered by insurance. Too many women were being told they were fine when they felt anything but fine. They’d come to me wondering if they were going crazy or if it was all in their head. They weren’t. Seeing their quality of life transform with the right hormone therapy is incredibly rewarding."
Prioritizing listening: "I always make sure my patients feel heard and validated, and I keep them in the driver’s seat. I provide education, guidance, and support so they can advocate for themselves long after our visit. When women understand what’s happening in their bodies, everything changes."
