Book a Visit with Me

A long road, worth every step: "I began my healthcare journey after separating from the Air Force in 2007, taking a longer, nontraditional path that taught me persistence and humility. Throughout my healthcare education, I worked in high-acuity settings including cardiac ICU and surgical burn trauma ICU in hospitals across St. Louis and Michigan. I’ve also gained extensive experience in urgent care, women’s health, psychology, and family practice, because I believe being well-rounded makes me a better clinician."

Finding women’s health: "Women’s health wasn’t something I initially set out to pursue. That changed when I began helping a gynecologist in private practice a few days a week. I quickly realized how overlooked and under-supported women’s health, especially in midlife, really is. Even as someone who researched my own health, I was struck by how little attention is given to the complex changes women experience. I knew I wanted to be part of changing that."

Changing the narrative: "I once had a patient who came in overwhelmed, by her mood, her stress, her family, her hot flashes, and braced for being told it was all in her head. I let her talk, and when she finished, I told her I believed her. We talked honestly about hormones and outdated research, and she chose to try treatment. When she returned a month later, she was transformed, and told me she felt better within 24 hours. That moment reshaped my practice and gave me permission to care for my own symptoms, too."
