Rooted in community: "I became a nurse in 2016, starting my career in inpatient oncology before becoming a nurse practitioner in 2021. Since then, I’ve worked in primary care, caring for patients of all ages and treating everything from heart and lung conditions to skin concerns, musculoskeletal issues, and hormones. I was born and raised in the same rural community where I practice today, which makes it especially meaningful to care for people who have known me, and trusted me, for years."
Listening changes everything: "Working in a community without an OB/GYN or endocrinologist showed me just how many women were struggling to find support for perimenopause and menopause symptoms. So many patients told me they felt dismissed or were simply told to “wait it out.” Those conversations pushed me to learn more and deepened my passion for women’s health. It’s incredibly rewarding when women seek me out specifically because they know I’ll listen closely and take their concerns seriously."
Care that feels personal: "My care philosophy is centered on compassionate, thoughtful, and individualized care. I want every patient to feel heard, seen, and confident in their treatment plan. No two people are exactly alike, which is why I believe open communication, accessibility, and judgment-free care are essential to helping women feel their best through every stage of midlife."
