Two decades of hands-on care: “I started my journey in healthcare over 20 years ago as a nursing assistant, eventually becoming a nurse and then a Nurse Practitioner. I’ve worked in both med-surg and ortho, got certified in ortho care, and spent time in urgent care and family medicine. That hands-on experience taught me the importance of slowing down, tuning in, and really understanding what each patient needs. Now, focusing on midlife women’s health, I’m excited to build strong relationships and provide care that feels personal, collaborative, and grounded in trust.”
Why I dig deeper: “One experience that’s stuck with me involved a patient with uncontrolled blood sugar. As we talked, I realized she was rationing insulin because she simply couldn’t afford enough. That moment reminded me how powerful it is to listen closely and take time to understand what’s really going on.”
Health is power: “I focus on education, shared decision-making, and building plans that fit real lives. The most rewarding part of my work is seeing women get back to feeling like themselves. I love when a patient comes back feeling better, more energized, and proud of the changes they’ve made.”
